Ever since I enrolled, I was already curious as to who my blockmates were. All my friends knew their blockmates already, and I found it so unfair that I still didn’t know anyone from my block. Yeah, I know, i’m probably the only AHS student there kaya baka talagang wala akong kasama sa block ko na taga-Ateneo rin. So, like my classmates, I started to search for groups for my course. It’s tough looking for a group associated w FEU-NRMF and not just FEU. There were barely any groups for MedTech students in FEU-NRMF. I looked at the website, but there wasn’t anything there about freshmen or anything, not even news of the orientation this Tuesday and Thursday.
I looked at the subjects I will be taking for my first year. I already have a list of my subjects, but I still checked the one in the site. It contained all the subjects for all four years. Urk. Lots of Math and Science involved. -__- “College Algebra,” “Physics,” “(Something something) Chemistry,” “Biology,” et al. Sa fourth year, I need to do more than 1200 hours of internship ata. Nggggh. Scary.
I Googled FEU-NRMF again, checking for forums at some site at least where freshmen could possibly be. A lot of them were either graduating, or not taking their premed in NRMF like me. All of them were saying it’s really tough there. Like, yun din yung mga naririnig ko sa lahat ng mga taong nagsasabi sa akin na may kilala sila roon, or nag-aral sila roon. Seriously, nakakatakot. Hina ko pa naman sa Math and Science. Dapat talaga hindi ako rito e. hahaha. Anyway…/ Unfortunately, wala pa rin akong nahahanap na lungaan ng mga magpepremed ng MedTech sa NRMF, so I decided to just go to any FEU group or page. Gahd. Sobrang desperado ako, like, I wanna know people from my block alreadyyy. Sort of. I know may orientation, pero mas okay sana di ba kung may kilala ka na rin? Lalo na ako huhu lonely ako sa school na yun. Like, okay, may isa naman akong kilala roon na babantayan ko hahaha but ang tagal na rin naming di nag-usap, like, two years na siguro or three. Also, she’s an upper batch person, so basically, wala pa rin talaga akong kilala. :/ dahil dun, ayun, I went to the FEU page (not NRMF), and posted: “Any freshman taking MedTech in NRMF? I’m lost :|” Lost, kasi baka hindi ako dapat dun magpost tungkol sa NRMF. Well, may isang naglike, but I think she’s not taking premed kasi (sorry no offense) she looks like she’s done premed already. So ayun. I am sounding this distress call.
Gahd I feel like Will Smith in I Am Legend, only I don’t slap things (can’t blame him). I’M BENJO JUCO, TAKING MY PREMED (BS MedTech) IN FEU-NRMF. IF THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO IS ALSO TAKING MEDTECH IN NRMF AND IS ALSO A FRESHMAN, LET ME KNOW. Just don’t add me in Facebook because I won’t add you kasi I don’t know you. Anyway. SPREAD THIS MESSAGE TO OTHER INCOMING FRESHMEN IN NRMF. TELL THEM WE ARE LOOKING FOR THEM.
